Vanity Fur Dog Daycare & Spa was opened by Ceri Garrity on Chorley New Road, Horwich in 2022 after she had been running the Vanity Fur dog grooming firm in Blackrod since 2018.
She has now been thrilled to have been honoured by the Bolton Women in Business Awards in the women in doggy daycare and pet grooming services category.
Ceri said: “We are deeply humbled and proud to receive three awards in three years, especially as a woman-owned business.
“These recognitions are a testament to the passion, dedication, and hard work that our entire team brings every day to provide exceptional care for the dogs we have in our day care.

“This achievement would not be possible without the trust of our clients and the hard work of our dedicated team, and we are excited to continue setting the bar for excellence in dog care.”

Ceri says that what sets her business, which ran the dog show at the Festival of Horwich last year, apart is the calm, loving and fun environment for dogs.

As well as daily activities the spa also provides themed activities for dogs like Valentines Day, Easter, under the sea, farming, camping and safari parties.
Staff hold recognised qualifications in animal care including a bachelor of science in animal behaviour and welfare, plus level two and three in animal management.
Ceri says the business also supports charities like the Bolton Destitute Animal Shelter and Homeless Aid UK where they provide a collection point for donations.
She and her staff hold collection drives throughout the year, providing food, clothing, dog accessories and essentials to assist with the funding and charity work.
