Viral Video: Parents Get Dog For Kid to Reduce Her Screen Time, But It Backfires Hilariously. Watch
Trending News: In today’s world, many kids spend lots of time on iPads and the internet, which can worry their parents. While playing games and watching videos online can be fun, too much screen time can cause problems like trouble sleeping and less physical activity. Happinetz, a company that helps parents manage their kids’ screen time, found that 42% of children under 12 spend two to four hours on screens each day. Recently, some parents tried to help their daughter stop using her iPad by getting her a dog. But things didn’t go as planned, and it turned into a cute internet moment.
The parents hoped their daughter would play with the dog instead of her iPad. But the video they shared shows the girl and her dog lying on the floor together, both watching something on the iPad. The caption says, “They got her a dog, thinking it would help her give up the internet. Now both are addicted.”
This video has been viewed over 1 million times since it was posted on May 3. One person commented, “Lol… looks like the dog just found a new best fren… with endless pawsome content…!” Another person said, “Introducing a pet to help someone use the internet less is a good idea, but it’s important to know that dealing with internet addiction needs more than just a pet.”

She’d be fine after a few tantrums lol.”
