WARREN, RI — The Warren Town Clerk's Office is reminding all town dog owners that the deadline for licensing their pets will be here before you know it.
All dogs over 6 months old in Warren require a new license each year. Licenses are valid from May 1 to April 30 each year.
To help bring attention to the licensing alert, the East Greenwich Town Clerk's Office provided Patch with a list of dogs licensed in Warren. And with that, we sought out to uncover what the post popular dog names are in town.
The most popular dog name was Loki, which made up three of the more than 140 dogs on the registration list, shared with Patch.
Dog licenses are now available in Warren and cost $6 per license, with a maximum of three dogs per household. Dogs need to have a current rabies certificate to be licensed. See more information how to register your dog on the town website.
