I just want to eat up this week’s Pet of the Week, not only because of his delicious name but because he’s truly the best boy. The staff describes him as super sweet.
Breadstick is a two-year-old German Shepherd mix who’s back at WHS for a second time. With his beautiful golden coat and wonderful personality, Breadstick is going to make one lucky family very happy. He’s great with kids and other dogs, knows commands, and loves car rides. He’s still working on housetraining. He’s got a good start, but boy dogs will be boy dogs.

Breadstick does have one challenge that’s kept him from finding his forever home. He has some separation anxiety and takes a little time to warm up to new people, especially men. The staff said he’s been through a lot, and he’s feeling pretty nervous being back at the shelter. But with a little patience, he’ll warm up to be your best friend and start showing off his playful, goofy, and loving side. He needs to be with a person or family who can help him through his separation anxiety and keep him in a secure place or doggie daycare when they are away.
Breadstick is up to date on all vaccines, deworming, prevention, is spayed and microchipped! If you’re interested in Breadstick, fill out an adoption application on their website. Come meet him at WHS during open hours:
Wed–Thu: 12–7 PM | Fri–Sun: 12–4 PM

There are several ways to tell someone where you're from without actually telling them where you're from. Let's take Warrick County for example.
