Wellness introduces new wet cat entrées

BURLINGTON, MASS. — Wellness Pet Company is expanding its wet cat food portfolio with the introduction of its new Wellness® Appetizing Entrées™. The new line offers nine protein-rich meals for adult cats designed to help provide hydration during mealtime.

“Many pet parents find that their cats are not heading to the water bowl as often as they should. Wet food and treats are a simple way to promote daily hydration and support overall wellbeing,” said Danielle Bernal, DVM, global veterinarian with Wellness Pet Company.

Wellness Appetizing Entrées are formulated with balanced nutrition and support what the company refers to as the “5 Signs of Wellbeing™.” These visible signs of whole-body health include sustained energy, healthy digestion, healthy skin and coat, immune health and healthy teeth and bones.

The entrées list chicken and fish as the first and primary ingredient, and contain no artificial flavors, colors or preservatives, according to the company.

“When served as a topper or as a complete-and-balanced meal, Wellness Appetizing Entrées offer adult cats another option to support hydration and the 5 Signs of Wellbeing with flavorful variety and texture that keeps mealtime enticing for cats with picky palettes,” Bernal added.

The Wellness Appetizing Entrées line includes nine flavors: Tuna & Tilapia; Tuna, Mackerel & Shrimp; Tuna & Cod; and Tuna in flaked formulations; Chicken and Chicken & Turkey in mousse formulas; and Chicken; Chicken & Duck; and Chicken & Salmon in shredded forms. They are also available in three variety packs. 

Wellness Pet Company will be displaying the new products at booth 3931 during SUPERZOO from Aug. 14 to 16 in Las Vegas.
