what to watch out for

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – Easter is quickly approaching, which means lots of chocolate, Easter baskets, and decor.

Stephanie Peterson with Pet Wants in Sioux Falls joined DakotaNews now with some safety tips and dangers to keep in mind this Easter.

“First of all, you want to make sure they’re not eating chocolate. Chocolate can be very deadly for a dog. People don’t think about the Easter grass that you put in an easter basket. The things you might put in the eggs that you put in there for the kids, a lot of dogs can’t digest that. Anything that could get into their intestines and possibly block them,” said Peterson.
