ORLANDO, Fla. (WFTV) – The Florida woman accused of killing and discarding her dog at Orlando International Airport is out on bond.
Alison Lawrence was arrested this week after the dead animal was discovered in the airport’s bathroom in December.
Authorities say Lawrence drowned the dog after she was told she didn’t have the proper paperwork to take the pet on the plane.
“Someone that would do such a thing would be pretty disturbed upstairs,” a resident in Lawrence’s neighborhood reacted.
Lawrence is charged with animal cruelty.
Lawrence posted a $5,000 bond.
