FARGO, N.D. (Valley News Live) – A woman says she was assaulted by strangers in broad daylight at a dog park in Fargo.
It reportedly happened on Friday, August 9, at approximately 4:30 p.m., at the dog park in the 4400 block of 9th Ave. S., in the area behind Hobby Lobby and Dollar Tree.
Fargo Police say officers spoke with the caller who stated that while she was at the dog park with her pet, she became engaged in a verbal altercation with a group of five people (four women and one man).
She says one of the women hit the victim in the face with her fist.
When the victim called the police, the five people left in their vehicles.
Police say no video footage is available. No suspects have been identified.
