Tater Tot, also a rescue, and Liv formed an instant bond, understanding each other not just as the same breed, but through their shared experiences. Sweet Pea’s journey to her new home involved undergoing as many as five surgeries, including one to heal a long-standing facial wound. With the successful treatment of this wound, the scars of her past life faded, paving the way for a brighter future. Despite her traumatic past, Sweet Pea evolved into a loving, affectionate dog, cherishing moments like having her paws on her mom’s hand, receiving head pats, and offering comfort to her family when needed.
This loving trio often visited Caitlyn’s mom at her workplace, enjoying a vast field for play. Sweet Pea would play with Tater Tot before protectively staying close to her mom or granny.
