Woman Travels To Dog Dumping Ground, Finds Pup Afraid To Go With Her

As dog lovers, we will never understand what would cause anyone to abandon their pets. Dogs deserve love, affection, playtime, and frequent meals. They do not deserve a life filled with heartache. In a popular area for dumping dogs, a woman with a heart of gold found a sweet pup ready to be rescued. While she was frightened, the dog, later named Daisy Mae, was thrilled to see a kind face. Her mixed emotions were of relief and fright after being wronged by humans too many times. It was a familiar sight for the woman who vowed to save her.

The woman exited her vehicle and walked over. Daisy Mae wagged her tail nervously as if she were saying, “Thank goodness you’re here, but please don’t hurt me!” The woman lovingly looked at Daisy Mae and promised to end her dark days forever. She picked up the dog and carried her over to her car. It was time to bring Daisy Mae home. The pup was confused and overwhelmed, but once she was in her rescuer’s home, her whole demeanor changed. She was now at the woman’s animal sanctuary surrounded by once-abused and abandoned dogs.

The grateful pups radiated happiness, and Daisy Mae wouldn’t stop smiling! The video below follows Daisy Mae’s journey from the dumping site to her glorious new home. Her new mama praises the pup for celebrating her newfound freedom as she runs joyfully around the property. Daisy Mae never takes her new life for granted.
