Who purchased Cadabom Okami in India

The new owner of Cadabom Okami is S. Satish, a 51-year-old dog breeder from Bengaluru. Satish is well-known for his extensive collection of rare dog breeds. In fact, he owns over 150 different breeds, making him a prominent figure in the dog breeding community.

Okami was born in the United States and was sold to Satish in February through an Indian broker. Satish, who is also the President of the Indian Dog Breeders Association, shared his excitement about the purchase. He described Okami as a truly exceptional dog for its striking resemblance to a wolf. He emphasized that this particular breed had never been put up for sale before, making Okami incredibly rare and unique.

Passionate about dogs, Satish said that he enjoys owning unusual breeds and bringing them to India. His love for extraordinary canines drove him to spend a staggering Rs. 50 crore on Cadabom Okami, making it the most expensive dog in the world.

Where does it originates from?

The Caucasian Shepherd is a strong, thick-coated dog breed that originates from cold regions such as Georgia, Armenia, Azerbaijan, and parts of Russia. These powerful guard dogs are traditionally used to protect livestock from predators like wolves. They are often found herding and defending sheep and goats in mountainous areas, making them highly valued for their protective instincts and strength.

Earning money by showcasing Okami

S. Satish has turned his rare dog breed into a money-making sensation by featuring Okami at high-profile events, including film premieres. The dog has become a viral sensation in Karnataka, attracting massive attention.
