Amanda Owen, the beloved Yorkshire Shepherdess, was spotted judging the annual Harrogate Dog Show on Saturday (April 12).
Best known for her appearances on Our Yorkshire Farm, Amanda swapped sheep for spaniels as she took on the role of star judge at the popular town centre event, which drew in hundreds of dog lovers and their four-legged friends.

Amanda, joined by her children Miles and Edith, lent her expertise and trademark warmth as she met dogs of all shapes and sizes throughout the day.
Speaking on Instagram, Amanda said: “We must be barking mad! The Owen clan (Miles, Edith and myself) judging at Harrogate Dog Show! There was such a great atmosphere, the sun was shining, and people turned out to enjoy showing off their pooches. Best of all was hearing about the owners’ relationships with their dogs.”
This was a rare sighting of Amanda, as she often likes to keep a low public profile.
The event also marked the debut of a brand-new pet-themed market on Cambridge Street, offering treats, accessories, and expert advice for pet owners.
The addition, well-received by visitors and local businesses alike, added a fresh and engaging dimension to the day.
