CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa — Z102.9 is partnering up with the Cedar Valley Humane Society to help collect pet supplies for animals in need every Monday for the next month.
Starting Monday, Nov. 18, Destiny and Taylor, Co-Hosts of the Those Girls in the Afternoon show, will Stuff the Waggin' with donations at Theisen's Home, Farm & Auto in the 3100 block of 16th Avenue Southwest.
Local animal rescues say donations are especially important for them this time of year.
If you'd like to drop off a donation, they'll be there each Monday through Dec. 16. Just look for the Z102.9 station wagon in the store's parking lot from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Right now, they're asking for pet care supplies, such as:
- Bleach
- Canned pâté kitten food
- Contractor garbage bags
- Dry dog food
- Liquid laundry detergent for HE machines
- Pill pockets or pouches, chicken flavor
- Sentry de-wormer for large and small dogs
- Two-pocket folders
- Ziploc gallon-sized bags
They're also asking for food and cleaning items. You can find the full list below:
- Antiseptic wipes (Clorox and Lysol)
- Canned pâté cat food
- Cans of Easy Cheese (to fill Kongs)
- Cat toys
- Dawn dish soap
- Dog toys
- Feliway calming spray
- Kitten milk replacer (KMR)
- Kuranda beds
- Large and XL plastic dog crates
- Non-clumping cat litter
- Paper towels
- Postage stamps
- Printer paper
- SnuggleSafe microwave heat pads
- Tall kitchen garbage bags
- Theisen’s gift cards
