With the spooky season approaching. Many people are interested in buying a black cat. Before you make your big purchase, you might want to think about what might come with it.
You may not know what comes with the responsibility. When you adopt any pet, you must be aware that it takes time for any animal to get comfortable.
After speaking with the director of the Hart County Animal Shelter Director, Toney Roberts, we learned that every animal is different. Some animals could take 3 days, and others could take 3 months.
Roberts shares, “I have two at my house that I’ve adopted myself, and I’ve got one still… I guess I’ve had him for 2 months and he’s still adjusting.”
You never know what any animal has gone through before being in an animal shelter. Before you adopt prepare as much as possible for what may come.
