BCHC Welcomes Additional Therapy Dog | Independence Bulletin Journal

INDEPENDENCE – Buchanan County Health Center (BCHC) is pleased to introduce Kronk VanEe to the Pet Therapy program.

Kronk is a four-year-old Golden Retriever who has been working towards becoming a certified therapy dog since he was a puppy, and recently became certified in early 2023. Visiting BCHC weekly with admitting representative, Bella VanEe, Kronk joins fellow pet therapist, Rosie, in offering per therapy services to hospital patients, guests, and employees upon request. All are welcome to request an on-site visit from Kronk or Rosie while at BCHC and may do so by inquiring with any staff member.
