FARGO — A local dog day care center wants your help alleviating the stress on local animal shelters during the holidays.
Staff at Camp K-9 in south Fargo are hosting their first dog food drive through the end of November. The drive is for cats and dogs at shelters in the Fargo-Moorhead area.
Fall is a busy time for shelters and they sometimes do not have enough supplies. So, they’re hoping to collect unopened cleaning products for animals, cat and dog foods, beds, blankets and toys.
If you’d like to help, you can drop off those items at the center at 1617 32nd Ave. S. Fargo.
“We tend to focus a lot on our company and helping our customers, but we kind of want to reach out to the other places, too, and make sure everybody’s having a good holiday season,” Kelly Meers, a manager at Camp K9, said.
