Zander is a four-year-old black and white pitbull mix who just likes to go with the flow. He is a large dog, weighing in at around eighty pounds, but don’t let that intimidate you.
Zander is polite and calm, even around more energetic dogs. He does not tend to bark, even in his kennel, and his favorite pastime is quietly coexisting with people.
He has spent time hanging out at the shelter’s front desk and is always well-behaved, so he would make a good dog-friendly office or work-from-home companion.
Zander is friendly to strangers and he gets along well with other dogs, including puppies. Zander could also be a positive influence on younger dogs who need to learn some manners, given his easy-going personality, patience, and attentiveness to people.
Zander has been enjoying cuddles and lazing around at the shelter, but he would enjoy it even more in a forever home with a family to call his own. If you visit the shelter, he might even be at the front desk, ready to say hello.
