Darlington’s Dogs Trust: Full list of 7 dogs up for adoption

We have compiled a list of seven pups hoping to bring some light into their new owner’s lives.

This includes a mix of breeds, temperaments and backgrounds, all with their own unique quirks and charms.

Silky and Tammy, German Shepherd Cross

Silky is seeking a peaceful home where she can live out her golden years.

She arrives as a duo with her best pal Tammy and they “can live with sensible older teens (over 14 years) but need to be the only dogs in the home,” due to their timid nature around other dogs.

Having never lived in a typical home environment, these ladies are learning the beauty of home comforts in their current foster care.

Polly, German Shepherd Cross

Nervous around other pets, Polly would best suit a home without other animals or children but promises to be “really affectionate once she knows you”.

Ace, Rottweiler

“If you are a fan of the breed and looking to do fun games and into your dog training, then Ace is the guy for you!”, says the centre.

Majoring on his love for food and toys, Ace will thrive under an owner adept with larger breeds and keen to invest time in his training.

Loki, Spaniel

This mischievous little trickster brings an always wagging tail, a love for toys, and heaps of vitality.

He will need a home ready to continue with pre-existing training plans and support his ongoing medical needs which include hydrotherapy for his legs.

Buddy, Dobermann

Buddy would like confident owners who can provide “plenty of fun and training”.

Open to living with another dog, the big softie has an appetite for affection and is weak for treats.

His owners should prepare for the rewarding journey of welcoming him as a new family member.

Buzz, Bullmastiff cross

This lad is seeking a home with confident adults ready to continue his training.

The centre advises adopting a family that understands larger breeds and is enthused about engaging in fun activities with Buzz.

The Darlington Dog’s Trust invites potential owners to apply without guarantee for a specific dog but encourages applicants to state their preferences.

This approach is hoped to better guide the center in matching the right dogs with suitable prospective families.

Whichever dog might pique your interest, these canine friends are all eagerly awaiting their forever homes, hoping to find families ready to offer them plenty of love, fun, and lifelong companionship.

All 7 of these dogs can be found here.
