It isn’t often that one comes across a shelter cat who seeks a home with a cat-friendly dog, but Rein is no ordinary cat.
Just under two years old, he’s currently at Ahimsa Haven Animal Shelter. Where he has been for nearly 300 days. Yes, this gray and white tabby mix somehow gets overlooked, and he is really ready to be with a purr-son or fur-mily who enjoys a cat with a spicy personality.
Shelter volunteers report he “is definitely a charmer and with a bit of ‘bad boy’ in him.” Potential adopters should be aware that he has a feisty side, but absolutely loves to play. You can delight him with a laser toy, or a plain old piece of string, and Rein will bring big smiles and laughter from all who spend time with him.
Because of the length of his Shelter sojourn, a generous benefactor has paid his adoption fee, so this is a “fee-free” kitty, ready to go to your home.
And when you adopt a pet from a shelter, you know you are getting a healthy pet. Visit ahimsahaven.org to fill out an application, and visit “Ahimsa Haven” on Facebook to see more wonderful pets.
