Homeless Pet Parents Get The Dog Food They Need Thanks To Your Help!

Every time you purchase items from the iHeartDogs store, part of the profit goes to Greater Good Charities. Greater Good Charities helps a variety of animals in need, and through their GOODS Program, they provide healthy meals to dogs. Because of those food donations, many dogs have better lives!

One of the organizations that receives donations from the GOODS Program is Feeding the Pets of Tulsa’s Homeless, Inc. This program gives dog food and other pet supplies to homeless families so they can keep their pets healthy without having to spend the little money they have.

Champ, George, Diva, Kya, and Bella are some of the many dogs who have benefitted from food donations. Their humans have access to food from local shelters and food pantries, but those sources don’t provide support for pets. So, these dogs used to rely on human food scraps whenever their owners were unable to get dog food.

Homeless Pets with Full Bellies

Thanks to the GOODS Program’s donations, Feeding the Pets of Tulsa’s Homeless, Inc. can more easily supply necessities to these pets. The organization regularly gives the families dog food and other supplies so they won’t have to worry about whether or not they’ll be able to provide for their furry friends. Each owner loves their dog very much, so these donations can help dogs and families stay together.

“These sweet pups now have reliable access to healthy dog food every week thanks to donors and the GOODS Program. We can also provide them with leashes, harnesses, and flea/tick prevention when our funds allow,” wrote Feeding the Pets of Tulsa’s Homeless, Inc.

The need for pet food for homeless individuals is high, so this organization has a difficult time keeping up with the demand using their regular donations. With the GOODS Program, they’re able to have more items to give to pets in need, which improves the lives of dogs and their families.

Every time you shop at the iHeartDogs store, you’re helping dogs like the ones mentioned in this article. These canines are able to have a better life because of these donations. So, thank you to all the incredible heroes who have purchased products to support homeless dogs.

The following products provide quality dog food for shelters and rescues, helping them reserve more of their precious funds for medical expenses, supplies, and spreading the word about their adoptable pups. Learn more.
