MUSCATINE, Iowa — An eastern Iowa animal rescue needs your help raising money to keep things afloat.
The Fall Pet Festival is a fundraising event that is being held Friday, Nov. 15 through Sunday, Nov. 17. The event was organized by It Takes a Village, a 501C3 animal welfare organization that specializes in providing shelter to homeless animals while finding them a new home. President & Founder of It Takes a Village, Meagen Koehler, said they are strapped for resources and they absolutely need all of the support they can get going forward.

If you and your fur baby would like to attend, the festival will run until that Sunday at 3 p.m. at the Riverside Park in downtown Muscatine.
The Friday night kick off party will start at 5:30 p.m. to help ring in the weekend of festivities, including:
