LIVONIA, MICH. — Pet Supplies Plus, a subsidiary of Franchise Group, Inc., and Wag ‘N Wash Pet Food & Grooming are reporting double-digit mid-year growth with 23 franchise agreements sold and 16 store openings.
“Heading into 2024, we were focused on growing Pet Supplies Plus’s footprint and bringing Wag N’ Wash to new markets, and we’ve achieved some of these goals and are making strong progress on others,” said Nick Russo, chief development and stores officer of PSP Group. “We are continuing to receive high interest in both franchise opportunities, especially from existing franchisees who are looking to diversify their portfolios with a concept that is primed for success in a thriving industry. According to PSP Group, Pet Supplies Plus is the largest pet retail franchise in North America with 730 locations in 43 states, to date. In 2023, Pet Supplies Plus was ranked No. 21 on Entrepreneur’s Annual Franchise 500® list and No. 44 on Forbes’ list of Best Customer Service brands.
Wag ‘N Wash in an emerging self-wash, grooming and natural pet food franchise with 24 locations currently across the United States.
The two franchises project selling a total of 70 franchise units and opening 45 stores by year-end.
