RENO, Nev. (KOLO) -A local shelter dog named Mercury has captured the hearts of many at the Wylie Animal Rescue Foundation, where he has lived for four years.
Despite his sweet and friendly personality, the staff at the shelter are baffled as to why Mercury has not yet found his forever home. Mercury’s foster mom describes him as a cuddly companion who loves to snuggle, making his situation even more puzzling.
Unfortunately, Mercury’s journey has taken a challenging turn—his cancer has returned. However, his foster family is determined to give him the best care possible. They have entered him into the America’s Favorite Pet competition, where the grand prize money will cover Mercury’s much-needed treatment.
Now, they are asking for the community’s support. By voting for Mercury in the competition, you can help this lovable dog get the care he needs while increasing his chances of finding a permanent home. Every vote counts toward making a difference in Mercury’s life.
